About The Artist
Grace Katsi'tsi:io Point is a Mohawk artist from Akwesasne who earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from OCADU through the Indigenous Visual Culture Program. She is an interdisciplinary artist focusing on traditional Indigenous materials and methods. Her works explore themes of embodied knowledge, body sovereignty, and the land as teacher through the decolonized lens of the Indigenous Research Paradigm.
